This week our contest was - Freaky fireplaces!!

 

This was a tough topic but there sure was some great entries. I want to thank everyone who entered and for those who could not find a photo to enter- hope to see your entry this coming week! Now on to the winners!

 and for 100 Active Rain points goes to All Pro Team for this unique people aqaurium/fireplace/dresser. Way to go! 

  and for 200 Active Rain points goes to Steve Smith- well as they say a picture says a thousand words- thank goodness cause I wouldn't know where to start on this creative weird keg/fireplace?

Next week will be the month in review. The next contest will start on March 1st. For those who are new to the contest, I will be kind enough to share the next contest topic so you may have the chance to search and find photos to enter. I know some of the topics have been hard topics, but I know the future topics will be even more funand creative!

 March 1st topic shall be Pitty pools! Find your craziest/worst/ugliest pools you can find!

Great pics everyone.  Thanks for getting this together Maureen, it's a lot of fun.  At least I get some reward of all the cruddy houses I've inspected :-)

I will not share the points with Charlie but I must give him credit. Had he not designed, and installed that system, I would not have been able to take that award winning photo. Thanks again Charlie. Here's lookin' back at ya.

It is hard enough to look at things that should be upgraded, such as these fireplaces. How do you tell the Seller that it really is an eye sore?

I'm not sure what to say about 1st place (WOW) But, I'm glad to at least see my ugly entry got me something. A pool in Oregon, come on, now you are making me work!
