Continuing on with the photo theme (my previous blog "lunar eclipse") I thought I'd share some of my photography of this beautiful state - from the coast to the mountains. These photos have been taken over the last year. Some are from the big road trip I took last winter (originating in Toronto,Canada) where I actually saw and fell in love with NC for the first time, and some are from over the last few months since I've made NC my home. I look forward to taking Spring photos!

I'm sure that posting these here on AR can be a nice compliment to Realtors who are attracting out of state buyers! Also, it is fitting since I do offer photography services for my clients in addition to Home Staging.

I hope you enjoy!

How do you do that "Libby" thing on the photo.

Welcome to the Tarheel State, Libby! These are great pictures showing the diversity of our state. I'm a North Carolina native, and your photos made my heart swell! Do you have any great Durham pictures? Also, how's the staging business in the Triangle -- is it taking off? I sure hope so. I know your service adds such value!

Kenneth ~ That "Libby" thing is my watermark for copyright & theft deterrent purposes. I use an editing program, like Aperture, that places the watermark as it exports.

Dawn ~ Thanks for the warm welcome, I'm glad you enjoyed my photos! I don't have any Durham photos yet but look forward to getting some... any recommended locations for when Spring hits?

These pictures are so beautiful. I am a NC native, and yes, I feel the same way as you. This state is packed with beauty and lots to do. While I love to travel, I believe this state will always be my home.

Libby...My mouth fell open when I saw the first picture.  I am not kidding!

This is precisely why I think there has to be a photo group for the rest of us.  You, and some others, are in a class by yourself.

Thank you,

Kathleen

P.S.  I will treat myself to a peek at your other posts.

Kathleen ~That's a great reaction!

I should mention that the first two photos were given the HDR treatment using Photomatix and up to six exposures.  All photos were taken with a Canon EOS 5D and with various lenses.

I was thinking of starting a different kind of photo group... stay tuned.

Beautiful!  And considering it is 5 degrees and snowy and icy where I am, it is all the more inviting!!!!
