Another great afternoon, another great AR gathering

Another great afternoon, another great AR gathering! Only 3 of us but, oh well! It could not have been any nicer. We had a blast! I will save some of it for Judi to write about. Hopefully, she won't tell everything we did!!:)

My good friend and real estate partner Cheri Lynn Venditti joined us and we had some wonderful discussions about real estate and Active Rain. After lunch, we had a photo shoot in the restaurant. Everyone watching but not minding. We did not notice, we were having too much fun. Cheri, Ricki & Judi

Next we took Judi to the Pomarosa RV Park. That is mine and Cheri Lynn's listing on Hwy 16. We finally got our big sign to go there and we needed to put it up. There is a cedar post fence along the front and we wanted to attach it with screws. You can imagine three ladies out on Hwy 16 attaching a 4 by 4 foot sign to a cedar post fence. Wouldn't you know it! The screw gun ran down and the job was only half done.

Little did Judi know what she was getting herself in for. Flagging down passing pickups with contractor looking guys in them that might have a working screw gun was not the answer. Driving back to Kerrville to get another one from home was not either. So what's a savvy Realtor to do? Go to the nearest listing and borrow one. That's as far as I'm going with this story. The job got done!

It was a wonderful lunch from 1:00pm until 6:00pm. We enjoyed the day for sure, and many more are planned. We hope to meet lots of you i Black Buck Antelope n the near future.

See the Black buck antelope under the tree? There are literally hundreds here in this area of the Flying L. This one let us get a good shot without getting up and running. We saw lots of babies today and we love they way they hop away.

and it all counts as a business lunch so feel free add it to the tax's of 08, not sure about the screw gun seems like it did not do any real work :) I would love to put such a lunch get together here in ATL GA.

Hey Eric, It did take quite a bit of organization! The telephone works good and email can also be used. LOL :) Thanks for the laugh! Also thanks for the tip about the taxes. I had so much fun that was the last thing on my mind. But I will charge it off. Call some of the Rainers in your area, I'm sure they would want to get together like we did. It's fun and can be very beneficial for your business. If you get this way, call me I'd love to meet you and I'm sure the other ones would too.

Hi Marchel, I wish you lived closer too. We would do lots of things together. Soon, maybe we will meet face to face as well.

Hi Ricki! We really did have a great time this afternoon! I enjoyed every minute of it. It was so nice meeting Cheri Lynn too. hehehehe What happens in Bandera -- Stays in Bandera!!! I haven't had time to even look at my pictures or think of telling "My Side of the Story" yet. I got home and had to catch up with 2 clients and an Open House scheduled for Sunday. But I will get it done sometime over the weekend!

I'll offer my lake house. This is the view from the back porch and I own all the way to the lake. There is a boat house, boat, 2 jet skis, 2 4 wheelers, fishing, nature, it's really nice, and will sleep 14+. It's between Houston and Dallas and hour east of Waco...what you think? Also please rustle up all your Texas friends and get them going on the contest. Would appreciate you helping talk it up for me and Marchel. Thanks, Liz

I'm back. Last night was busy trying to catch up after "playing hooky" with Ricki & Cheri Lynn! I'm still smiling and laughing at all the fun we had! hehehe Ricki, I'll email the pictures to you in a little while. Had to go show a property this morning and just got back home. No, they didn't like it -- that one is a story in itself. lol

Liz, WOW!!! What a beautiful lake house and view of the lake!!! We'll definitely have to plan something there. Ricki & I do have something in mind and you will be hearing about it very soon! :)

OH Gosh, ya'll had such a fun time and all that good blogging talk too.. I wanna go!!!! Its wonderful to be able to actually meet and exchange ideas in person.

Hi Gail, We want to meet you too and we have a plan :) Mum's the word for now!

Ricki - Sound like it was a great fun day; sorry I missed out or I would have been there with my screw gun . But as a hard working inspector I had two inspections on Friday. Maybe next time. I may even bring some Texas Pecan Pie & Texas Blue Bell Ice Cream or dessert.

Wendy, we had so much fun!! We talked and laughed all afternoon. The time flew by and I stayed about 2 hrs. longer than I had planned to. I wouldn't have missed it for anything! I'm still laughing when I remember us putting up the sign -- it took all 3 of us! :)

It almost makes me want to go into real estate so I can be part of the team. Maybe in my second life when I'm not inspecting the homes you sell. Sounds like you have allot of enthusiasm and that is what builds a good team.
