MLS Lead Generator

By
Real Estate Agent with Realty

Working hard to increase my web presence this year. Last year I only used my company sponsored website www.dealwithdale.com. This year I plan to lauch multiple new websites some fee based and some free sites as well. If you are using one of the free sites and would recommend it, please pass the information forward. Also, I just set up another site www.oakleafplantationhomesearch.com. One of the featues is a MLS Search Lead Generator. Your thoughts on turning this on or leaving it off.

Thanks,

Hi Dale,

I recently set up my Point2 site and I've found it to be very easy to do. For now, I have the standard site which until Feb 20th was a free site. I received an email earlier this week that said they will be now be charging $9.95 per month for this standard site. Which to be honest is really good considering some companies charge over $1000 to deisgn a user friendly site. So far, I've found there are two musts when setting up a point2 site.......make sure you point your other domain names to it and be original with your content. They supply canned content that is relevant but search engines look for original and unique content to rate your site and move you up the list of search results.

There are several lead generating resources available like a custom search with registration, a links section where you can link other sites that you own, etc. It also allows you to see how many visitors you've had and will tell you how many times your listings have been seen and from where those visitors came. I could go on and on.

Check it out if you want.....www.steverider-realtor.com Let me know what you think.

Steve

I use postlets.com and have gotten some leads from there, plus I use the postlets to generate nice flyers for craigslist.com.  I've gotten good leads from both.

Steve,

I loved your website. The School lunch box looks great. I loved all the home improvement stuff. My website did not have any content like that. I would love to add stuff like that.

Thanks Dale,

I pulled most of my graphics and pics straight from the internet. It's amazing what you can find by Googling!

There's no telling how many late night hours I've spent on this so far. It's kind of addictive. Now that I've got a decent start, I'm working on SEO and that's a whole other monster. I'm fairly internet savvy but I'm learning more and more about this site placement stuff everyday.

One other note about the point2 site is when you enter a listing there, it syndicates to a bunch of other sites, most for free but there are some that you can pay to have a spotlight ad. Once you enter listings on your site you'll see what I'm talking about because it will take you through all of that.

Good luck with your site. Let me know when you're done and I'll return the feedback favor!
