I just saw this fascinating story on CNN. It's about Panda, a miniature pony who is trained as a guide for the blind. Trainable, house broke and talented ponies. I can't even get my dog to "sit" on command!

It's part of the "Panda Project" guide horses for the blind. I found a touching story of how the program started: HERE.

I would never have expected that - if it works, great!

BTW - you may not be able to get Jack to sit, but then again you can't load a pony into your backpack for a beach trip!

I would like to see Jack in the backpack on the ponies back going for a sunset walk. Please note that I did not say the pony in the backpack on Jack's back. That would be whacked.
