I recently received a call from a company in Florida that sells timeshare. They are in need of a real estate agent/broker in Texas so that they can sell their time share in Texas.
It seems that in order for them to sell time share in Texas, they need a license agent/broker in Texas. I will not be a "Silent Partner" and will not have to do anything. They want to fly me to Florida so that I can meet the corporate executives and view some of the facilities. They will train their sales staff and provide transportation, etc. I will be compensated on every sale. Is this too good to be true???
I contacted TREC to get more info about timeshare and I have researched the company. Has anyone worked with time share? Of course, I don't want to do anything that will put my real estate license at risk.
