If your seeking a lifestyle simplicity, then your most likely looking for some place called "PARADISE". While on vacation, I decided I didn't want to leave. The reason, I said, I did not want to leave, was because I had found "Paradise". But, I did go home after all.
Guess what happened? The very next day, I drove to "the Paradise Ridge" that looked over the Feather River Canyons and declared "these views are available to me every day, and by many vistors this could be called "paradise" just like where I live now, this is Paradise, Paradise, California.
Paradise is a location, but Paradise is a state of mind!"
Here are five things I discovered about Paradise.
1. Consider every moment, right now...Your Paradise. If you do what your love, with family and go to places you enjoy, your in Paradise.
2. See where you are, enjoy your location regardless of whether your serious or silly. Enjoy your surroundings, it's your Paradise.
3. Smile every day. Did you know the we are happier when we smile. Smile, laugh and enjoy life. Laugh because it's good for you and you will find your heart in Paradise.
There's a lot about life we really don't control, so we might as well just smile and laugh about it!
4. Your state of mind, heart and soul is your Paradise.
Stop... breathe, Yep, there it is right in front of you, Paradise. Your moment in Paradise.
Get out, clear your head and think happier thoughts.
5. Appreciate the past to gain a glimpse into the future Paradise.
Replace your negative thoughts with redefined thoughts of the future, find your passion, excitement, learning and love of Paradise.
When we forgive, we learn to love our past, and love our Paradise moment.
If you're having a hard time remembering your paradise, leave for a while. When I leave. I gain insights about this place called Paradise, that had beauty and environment to make this place I call home, where i relax and enjoy myself.
What's in your own backyard? Is it Paradise?
PARADISE is right under our nose. We just have to look around and appreciate what's in front of us.
Mine is, It's Paradise, California.
Suzi - You are so right. I just wrote a blog about "There is no place like Home", after being away on a short trip. Funny how things change when you look at them from a different perspective.
