Thank you Craigslist.com

I just wanted to say thank you to Craigslist.com for getting attention to a couple of my listings. I have been using them all the time but I have not been updating the post regularly. I read here on ActiveRain that you should update your listings regularly on Craigslist, so I bookmarked that suggestion and just got around to doing it.

Just as soon as I started to do that I began to get calls of serious buyers! It is great and I wanted to pass this along to others and say thank you Craigslist for getting some attention to my listings.

Rosemary, I've been doing the same thing, updating craigslist on a more regular basis and posting my listings wherever I can. Great advice!

Debbie ~ I love doing that. It is some manual work involved but if it is going to get notice, its worth it. Glad its working for you too.

I have had good success with Craigslist as well. It took me a couple of times to get the hang of it but it definitely did work for me. I am planning to increase its use in the future.

I have been using craigslist and classified flyerads. I have never tried vflyer.com how has that been working for you?

Craigs list is a great tool. I'm now using all the sites you mentioned as Ijust signed up for vFlyer.com last night..... Great site !

Anthony ~ I like all of them. Vflyer is nice and I use it on my website too. It strolls the properties up and I have had viewers comment on it. Not a direct sale from it that I know of.

Roland ~ Great news! Let me know how it works for you. The more that use it, will help too. Craigslist surprised me because I didn't know it was that handy for real estate.

Rosemary, I like to use Craigslist also. I am all about getting as much attention for my listings. Keep us sharing the tips.

craigslist is an awesome, and free tool that should be used by all real estate professionals

craiglist is great. I also really like the vflyer.com products. Lots of exposure for little input time and $

I have been using Craiglist to advertise my listings for nearly 1 year now. I have gotten some leads lately and even picked up a great buyer through advertising there.

Thanks for reminder. I have to updae my postings on Craigslist as well. I get leads but I have yet to get good ones. But I know it is going to take some time. Great post.

Gita ~ That is the key - updating, updating. That is what I learned and that is how I got the contacts to coming in.

I too find it unbelievable, the number of hits that you get from Craigs list when you keep it up. There are programs on the market that will have you move to the top several times a day.

Hi Rosemary... Craigslist has been good to me aswell. I post regularly and get serious buyers (looky loos also). The best part is they're free leads that have turned into good commissions.

Craigslist, Trulia, Postlets, Realbird, Homescout, oodle, livedeal, zillow, edgio, point2agent, neorealestate, backpage, kijiji, vast, classifiedflyerads, propertynut, realivent, house-hunting....and the list goes on and on with free postings.

Dee ~ do it today!! You might be surprised at how quickly it make you glad you did. My next upgrade I am going to copy the code from vflyer or classifiedflyerads to make it even easier to do. Realbird too.

David so true, there are several out there that are Free. I keep my list updated and I love to share:

iggyshouse.com, seealllistings.com, flipit.com, and I am going to check out videohome.com to see what it is about.

Good to hear it is working. I don't seem to get any calls from Craigs list except when I have rentals

Anne ~ I am finding that the price has alot to do with the attention. But of course. But also I change up my titles when I update.

I had a posting on Craigslist and got a call for an interview from our local newspaper. Craigslist rocks. Thanks for the post Rosemary.

Cedric ~ I received a couple of those calls too. Not the newspaper but a couple magazines/newsletters. I thought it was cool. Haven't seen the article yet but it was nice being called.

I've done craigslist for 2 years now. I sold one home from it. Free advertising is great. We should share other sites that are free as well. I do advertise on dreamhomes.com which is a free site.

Craigs list has helped me market and sell properties. Thank you craigs list.

I do agree with you that these sites are great, and even upgrades don't cost a lot of $$. The ones I don't care for (will not mention names) are the ones that eventually call you wanting you to pay them for the "leads" they pretty much tell you they're holding hostage until and unless you pay them $100.00 per month to get access to them. Don't fall for that! The buyers get enough information that they can find the home and YOUR information on Realtor.com and other sites.

I love Craigslist and I also use Classifiedflyerads.com to post there. So easy!!!!!

Rosemary-

I have been using craigslist for sometime. I try to update once a week. I have received some inquiries from my listings so I feel it is worth the time and effort.
