web site host recomendations

Real Estate Agent with Realty
Getting ready to start another website. Being new to Real Estate I really need a great site. I could also use more leads, but couldn't we all. I have reviewed many different web hosting sites out there. They all seem to look good to me. I was just wandering who you use for your site and why? Are there special or key features that are included with your site? What type of price does your hosting site charge?

The site itself is one thing and the seo another . I guess you can combine them

Dale, I use iPowerWeb to host my web sites. They are having a sale going on now for $4.95 per month. They give you a large amount of storage space, email addresses, databases, a free domain, etc. Here is their web site with a list of features: http://ipowerweb.com/products/webhosting/index.html. I been very pleased with their service and minimal down time.

I use and promote and teach agents about Network Solutions.  Price $10 a month and you can build a 1,000 page website which you will never need and 500 email addresses, again you will never use.  I coach agents on technology and  help them build a web presence based on this $10 a month plan.  Go to my website www.DickBetts.com and look over my site then click on my link to Network Solutions.  If you want check out my wife's site www.ShelbyBetts.com she's a REALTOR and built it herself.

I think it would be helpful to me if you would include your web address so I can see your sites. Thanks again.

After review, I decided to go with the Alamode people for my "flag ship" web-site. They have a lot of content and great SEO tools. I also set up several free sites to test the waters. Please review my new site and offer any recomendations. Thanks again for all the replies. Here is my new site:

Dale,

I would recommend Ala Mode too.  Its great, once you get everything set.  My assistant says she doesn't like it because you have to input everything manually, but I think thats better because it makes your site unique unlike Advanced Access and others that use templates that are difficult to change.

 Good luck.
