Hiking, Biking and Equestrian Trails in Highlands County, Florida - Central Flor

Highlands County, Florida has over 450 miles of existing and proposed trails are included in the County's Blueways, Greenways, Trails and Bikeways Comprehensive Master Plan. Once finished, the Highlands County trails will be an important link in the Florida Greenways and Trails System and in the National Scenic Trails System. Included are:

• 43 miles of equestrian trails;
• 30 miles of canoe trails;
• 195 miles of shared bikeways, and
• 180 miles of separate multi-use trails (hiking and bicycling).
