Tired of getting automated customer service instead of a person???

Hello,

I came across this great website and just had to share it. I don't know about you, but I have much better things to do than sit on a phone and push buttons and try to get a computer to understand what I am saying. To help bypass this problem, check out the following site: www.GetHuman.com It gives special instruction on how to bypass the computers and get a person on the phone for over 400 companies!!! For example, to get someone on the phone at NetZero simply press #### at each prompt, ignoring any messages.

Hi Sara, I just did this yesterday with AT&T....it gets a bit much...I handed the phone to my wife and she handed it BACK after listening a pushing button...they pushed hers! Nice post.

Thanks for posting this Sara. This is one of those frustrating things I'd like to avoid. I'm heading to the website next.

What ever happened to real people answering the phone anyway? I get so frustrated with the press 1 for this and press 4 for that. I end up going to the companies web site and sending an email or doing a live chat instead. Thanks for the web site. I am going to link it to my favorites.

Sara, Thanks for the tip. The sad thing is I am usually in the car (No Blackberry) when I need to call one of these companies. But it is worth checking out the site.
