Lake Arrowhead is an 8200 acre mountain, lake and golf community in Cherokee County, one hour north of Atlanta.  Visit http://www.lake-arrowhead-ga.com/ for lots of information for buyers and agents interested in our beautiful community.  This lake allows pontoon and ski boats and because it is gated with no public access, it is less crowded.  Water levels are constant year round, since it is a private lake and not used for flood control or power generation.  Lake homes are 35-50 ft from the water's edge.  It is the southern most tip of the Blue Ridge mountain range, with gorgeous views of mountains surrounding the lake.
