The week-in -review is finally ready for your viewing pleasure!

 ActiveRoundup

This was a tough week in the 'Rain. Rife with turmoil and angst, the network stumbled and lurched it's way to relative peace by mid-week. Many of the articles that were posted were peace keeping in nature. That's one of the reasons I keep coming back. We have a fine collection of thoughtful and level-headed members, both new and old, who work hard to make this a valuable community.

One of the biggest items in the news for the week was the introduction of the long-awaited speel chicker! For those of us who are consonant and vowel challenged, it was a late Christmas present. There is nothing worse than writing a good article and looking like a bonehead because you can't spell well or you type too fast. Thank you ActiveRain crew!

You can find the Week In Review here, or by clicking on the image above. Thank you to everyone who posted articles this week. The amount of material is nothing short of staggering.

I came across many articles in my reading marathon that had gained little attention. So, later this week I will be posting the second edition of "Unsung and Overlooked".

To all the week-in-review editors before me, Thank You. What a big job this is and all of you did a superior job of it. You have my well- earned respect. I have listed links to the previous weeks' reviews in this weeks RoundUp.

Some of the articles are Members Only, so make sure you are logged into ActiveRain or you will receive an error message.

Love your format, Mark. And I appreciate your efforts.  This is a time consuming endeavor for those who take the challenge.

Thanks for the mention, and I will be seeing more of you over on that snappy new favorite hangout of mine, SoundBiteBlog.com

Maureen: Thanks, it's a labor of love. Glad you like SoundBite!

John: I almost think 2 editors are needed now to cover all the articles. It is almost overwhelming.

Bryant, I'm trying to get a picture of myself that is as freaky as some of yours. It's a struggle...

And thanks for the $300, it'll come in handy!

Buckwheat, I just noticed the stubble. It must've been a REALLY long weekend. Did Marie just shove the food tray under the door again?

LOL,

Sparky, I can't believe you remember that post! It's the only one she ever wrote.

TLW: GRBAY (grinnin' right back at you) How's life in FL today? It's gray and gloomy here. Send me some sunshine, would you?

Ron, it's something I wrote a while ago and it was a little buggy. Now it works flawlessly. It can be used by any editor that would like to use it. Rich is using it this week.

If anybody would like to use it, just email me. I'll set up a login and password and you can have full access. There are 7 different color schemes to choose from and it makes the job alot easier. Just cut and paste. Add your commentary and away you go! You can edit and re-edit as often as you like.

Mark,

I commend you for this...very gracious of you! Again, great format.  I know that this review is tedious and consumes a great amount of personal time...even considering how to organize and lay it out. I'm certain that this will help future Week in Review Hosts step to the plate.

Hi Mark, thanks for keeping us posted, I am fairly new here at A.R. but it has become addictive and I cannot see myself not coming here each day to see the great news we have here.  Thanks again.

Teri: you are welcome to it!

Ron: thanks for the props. They are appreciated.

Bob: Welcome aboard. Watch for the Unsung and Overlooked collection later this week. It will be the 2nd edition and helps the new AR writers get noticed.

Jeff: I consider that High Praise indeed! Thank you so much. The things I've been watching you doing are very innovative. I think I came up with an idea this weekend for SoundBite that will make it sticky like you preach. I'll let you know as soon as I sort out the details.

Mark - nicely done, and lots of posts that I missed.  These reviews are great for catching posts that might otherwise be missed.  I know the week I did my AR Week in Review, I really enjoyed finding posts that I might otherwise have missed.  These reviews are alot of work, but what fun to read some really great posts - we do have some great writers here, that's for sure!  Off to go read those posts that I missed.

Great job!

Mark, Really nice job, I like the format, what a lot of work, thank you and thanks for the mention also, I was able to catch up with a bunch that I had missed.  Having trouble figuring out how to find all the posts on the new format.  Spent some time tonight checking out and joining groups I didn't even know existed, maybe that will help.

Mark, fabulous work.  You are so good at this that you almost make it look easy.  It's not.  I cannot begin to imagine the hours you put into this.  We're all grateful for your patient wife.  What a blessing.

Thanks for the mention.  It was totally unexpected (I didn't have the foresight to mail you a check like Bryant) and a delight.

Now I'm off to read all the stuff I missed!

Mark, the check's in the mail.  OK, I'm lying.  I checked out SoundBite instead.  I had been there before (linked from one of Rich's comments somewhere) and loved it!  You've got the total package going on there.  looks, layout, colors, cute little frog, but most importantly, content.  Congratulations.  I couldn't be rude and just leave so I stuck around and read your Buying a Realtor piece.  Great work.  How do you keep up with it all and still have time for working?
