Went to a birthday party this week-end and three people asked me about real estate. When I said it's a great time to buy or sale, they all said the market is bad. I asked "why" at which time they got this funny look on their face and replied "I heard it on the new".
Well in my opinion, I think it's great time in real estate. Interest rate are low - in the 5 and 6s. That's single digit numbers and that can't be bad. Home prices are lower this year, sellers are willing to make more concessions, and lots of HOMES to pick from.
Anyway back to birthday party, I told my friends if you want to buy a home there are lots of well price houses available and great rates so let go house hunting this week. They all look skeptical so we will see. Personally I don't watch the news anymore and keep on selling homes.
