Remember when one is use to going along on a journey and smooth sailing has been all one has noticed the first storm that comes along will look devastating, but it must rain sometimes or we would not appreciate the sunny times.   As with anything real estate is cyclical.  We have ridden a wave of extreme speculation, extreme wealth building, and extreme sales.  It is time to roll back up your sleeves and go back to work as we had to do in the 1990s and before.  Quit complaining and go back to work.  Fight with the expired, they will need you.  Help the builders, for they desperately need you.  Overcome the FSBO's objections, they can't sell on their own.  Batten down the hatches and get ready and prepared to ride out this storm that faces our industry.  Realtors show what you can do and what you are worth.  It is time for your market share numbers to grow and when the good times return and they will imagine what you will be able to do.
