I know it sounds hard to belive but I promise it is true. A quick survey of the top commoercial banks and their wholesale rates resulted in FHA Fixed rate mortgages are a better buy for the average consumer with a btter rate by almost .250 better!

Far as I can see the only downside to getting a FHA loan (if qualified) is that you always have MI. Now if your over 80 ltv it is a no brainer

Tony  - since many out there in the market place are lacking....what's that word again? Oh right, EQUITY, seems like the PMI becomes a no-brainer as you put it. Thanks for the great comment.
