Come on out and discover why I live in Temecula. We have the ideal climate for golf almost all year long as well as hot air ballooning. Lots of folks come to spend the day in one of our many award-winning wineries, which are nestled in our 3,000 acres of wine country. The wineries have many events that they host all year long, please check the following link for more info: http://www.temeculawines.org

Temecula provides a great array of acitivities for both our residents and visitor's all year long. We host many annual events such as the Temecula Balloon & Wine Festival, the Temecula Valley International Film Festival, The Tractor Race, The Rod Run, Western Days, the Street Painting Festival, the Arts Council events, specific themed weekends in Old Town and so much more. Our new theatre hosts a variety of entertainment aimed to please any age group.
In the mood for a little hometown flavor? On Saturday's you can visit our famous Farmer's market which has fresh produce, flowers and crafts. Stop by and take a tour of the Temecula Valley Museum and learn all about the beginnings of this great city. And we are proud of our Imagination Workshop Children's Museum where there is always something fun to do or learn for children of all ages.

Take a walk through the Old Town district where you'll find a mix of antique dealers, historic buildings, unique shopping and of course restaurants. Stroll along the downtown district on our wooden boardwalks, or if you are so inclined, you can ride in a horse-drawn carriage (seasonal). And if you haven't had enough shopping by then, take a quick jaunt to our local Promenade Mall and surrounding restaurants locatede at Winchester and Ynez Roads.

For the more active, there are plenty of other opportunities for catching some open air and beautiful sights. In the foothills just up off of Interstate 15 and Clinton Keith, head west up the hill and take a hike on the Santa Rosa Plateau Wildlife Preserve. For our webfooted friends, youu can spend a day of boating and fishing at Lake Skinner, which is the site of the annual Balloon & Wine Festival, or our newly opened Diamond Valley Lake which is a no contact lake provides a peaceful setting for catching some fish, some sun and some fun.
Temecula, is also home to the fabulous Pechanga Resort and Casino. Visitors here will enjoy gaming, concerts, boxing, dancing and some great restaurants. They also have an adjacent RV park for those who want to spend a little more time here in our lovely town. Temecula is also in close proximity to several other casinos such as; Pala Resort & Casino, Harrahs Casino, Pauma Valley Casino, Soboba Casino, Valley View Casino & Cahiulla Creek Casino.
It would be my pleasure to tell you more about our unique area or show you around the area.
