Staging Curiosity, The Neighbors could not wait to see!

By
Home Stager with Triangle Home Staging & Design/Lasting Impressions

When a Home Stager shows up with a truck starts moving furniture in to stage a vacant house the neighbors are always curious.  In Downtown Raleigh, NC new homes are reviving the older communities and providing modern conveniences with great locations and schools.  This new construction Craftsman style home at 2417 Ashland St. is close to downtown where everyone in the neighborhood knows one another.  Just as we were finishing up our staging for the Day we had the pleasure of meeting one of the neighbors who has lived there for over 30 years and she gave us a little history about the community.  She could not wait to see what we were up to and it was our pleasure to show her around.

After meeting Ms. Francis I talked with the Builder and suggested that he have a good old fashioned block party to show off his house to the rest of the community and have some good old word of mouth marketing.  He thought it was a great idea, a neighborhood may just sell this house.  Here are some before and after shots of the house:

Wow -- what a transformation! I was wondering if you see staging really taking off in the Triangle? I hope so, because I truly believe it reduces DOM and increases SP. I'd love to see this house in person!

Dawn,

Thank you for commenting.  I believe that Staging has taken off in the Triangle, especially over that last year.  Several years ago, when I used the term nobody understood what I was talking about.  Now, everyone refers to their favorite show on HGTV or they have a friend who stages.  I am fourtunate and stay busy with staging and re-design in the Triangle.

I think more Realtors and homeowners all over the country are getting it and I am glad that you understand the benefits.  I think ideas like Staging take a little more time to come around here in the Triangle, but they do come around.

I would love to show you the house anytime, before it sells!  You can find my contact information at www.Raleighstager.com

Not to long ago heard Gee Dunsten talk about block parties, then several weeks ago a Realtor I was working with said after the home was staged she was going to have a block party...now you are talking about it...Don't ned to be hit by a brick...third times a charm...I will start suggesting block parties on a regular basis.  The home looks great!   I'm sure the feedback will be trememdous.

Michele,

Great staging on this Raleigh home!  It's always nice when the neighbors curiosity gets the best of them.  You never know who they will share information with, about the staging job and your business.  So it is always best to have extra marketing materials laying around to hand out.  Continued success!
