I've been waiting to hear it..."Play Ball"...that familiar sound announcing the start of a baseball game.
I'm not so sure it will sound exciting for professional baseball this year, with all the controversy surrounding the use of performance enhancing drugs.
But...Little League Baseball is back and as big or bigger that ever! This past weekend, Little League Baseball kicked off it's 2008 season. And this is real fun! Kids across the County of Orange are in gear and playing America's favorite pastime. Beginning from Peanut League 5 year olds to Pony League 12 and 13 year olds...baseball is back for 2008 - and without the controversy - just the pure fun of youth and this great sport.
