As I am fast approaching my 2 year anniversary in Real Estate (what a ride it's been!) - My first "ThemThem" post has to be about my friend, Broker and Mentor Lola Audu.  Many of you are familiar with her posts and her inspiring, insightful and informational blogs.  And yes, she is that way in real life, too.  I only came aboard as an agent, having previously known Lola, because I wanted to be with someone I could trust.  Our office is like one happy family and we share and help each other out - I wouldn't trade that for anything. Lola also challenges you.  You better not be in this business if you're not willing to learn and Work. She introduced us all to Active Rain when we didn't understand what a blog even was.  She has been a definite "gem" in my life and I want to say THANK YOU!

Hi Ed.  Thanks for reading my blog.  I must say you do not look like most Eds that I meet:).  How unusual.

Have you found your blogging to be productive?

Ed, I would second that one for Lola. Following Lola's writings are always inspiring and educational, plus her belief in how Active Rain can help out the R/E Professional is unwaivering.

Thanks for sharing a ThemThem for our hometown girl, Lola!

Hi Ken:  It's short for Edwina.  Yes, blogging is productive and you will see results.  They might not be immediate but it will happen.  It's amazing when you do get the contact and they say it's from AR.

Duane:  Thank you so much for featuring Lola and this post.  One of Grand Rapids' finest, and not in just my opinion.  Everybody knows Lola:)

Very nice post on Lola, Ed. Her spirit clearly shines through her writing - so it's great to hear you affirm that in your personal connections with her.

Hi Elaine and Deborah:  She is definitely as eloquent in her speaking as she is in her writing, and her spirit does clearly shine.  Thanks for reading about Lola:)

Georgina - I really couldn't imagine not having the comaraderie that we share.  From some blogs that I've read, it's not so uncommon to have to watch your back in your own office and that just wouldn't fly at our office.

Hi Patricia & Debra:  Lola's writings and speaking flow so freely - she's bound to be a published author some day (she already does classes and speaking engagements).  We do have a great time at our meetings.
