My son introduced me to this yesterday - it is a fantastic way to answer your cell phone when you can't! It is called youmail - go to www.youmail.com to check it out!!! Here is what they offer FOR FREE:
You sign on and then have tons of options: you can either pick a general greeting for your calls or put in specific names and cell numbers. When someone (let's say for example, my son Sascha) calls, he would get either a message that I specifically recorded for him or one of the pre-recorded messages in their vast library of messages. Then I can go on and do the same thing for my daughter, my ex, etc.
This can be fun, surprising family members and friends and more importantly, can be really useful leaving specific greetings for your clients!!! Imagine Mr & Mrs X's surprise when they go to leave you a voice mail and hear "Mr & Mrs X, I am in a meeting, but have gotten the tax records and will get back with you later today".
There is no limit (that I have discovered) on how many numbers you can set up to receive special recordings. The only drawback is that 'youmail' sends you a text message to let you know each time you have a new message, so you have to have your cell set up to get text messages.
Let me know what you think if you decide to try it out!!!
