I've had quite a few of you ask me why I list "The Meaning of Life" at the top of the list of topics for each of my webinars, so I thought I'd give you the answer.

1.  Yes, it's a cheap ploy to incite interest in my webinars...but, as with all of my madness, there is a purpose.

2.  The main reason I do it is to illustrate the difference between what many agents EXPECT to get from coaching and what coaching is REALLY about.   Like the meaning of life, there is no one solution for success in real estate or any sales field.  It's an ammalgamation of consistent, focused daily efforts to build consistent future business.  I also want people to crack a smile when they see the absurdity of "The Meaning of Life" being on a list that includes things like "Assessing Your Goals," "Assessing Your Results," and "Balloons Just Ain't Enough."

I grew up reading MAD magazine in the late 70's and 80's, so I treat everything in life with a dose of humor and, occassionally, it rubs someone the wrong way.

I had one agent who actually told me he was offended by the whole "meaning of life" thing...he said, "I'm focused on doing business...NOT having fun!"

To which I replied "And THAT, sir, is why you and I don't seem to connect."
