The Button Theatre, North Atlanta's newest professional theatre company, is beginning its first full season on March 6, 2008, with the opening of "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown," directed by Mary Carolyn Conti, with musical direction by Ginny Lockhart.

According to the theatre's website: "The show is best described as an average day in the life of Charlie Brown. It is a day made up of little moments picked from all the days of Charlie Brown's life, from Valentine's Day to the baseball season, from wild optimism to utter despair, all mixed in with the lives of his friends (both human and non-human) and strung together on the string of a single day, from bright uncertain morning to hopeful starlit evening."

The cast of the show includes everyone's favorite Peanuts characters:

Lucy Van Pelt- Maura Carey Gebhardt
Linus Van Pelt - Matthew Carter
Schroeder - Nathan Phillips
Sally Brown- Kristie Krabe
Snoopy- Nick Arapoglou

Performances run March 6 - 30, 2008 -- Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 2 PM. Ticket prices are as follows. 

• Regular Adult - $20
• Kid/Student/Senior citizen - $15
• Groups of 10 or more - $17
• Groups of 20 or more - $15

The season continues with "Barefoot in the Park," which runs July 3 - 27, 2008 and Stephen Sondheim's "Company," which runs from October 2 - 26, 2008.
