I was just checking out Derek Guyers post on his rehab tips. I added one suggestion that I am now going to tell you about.
If you are rehabbing a home, building your personal home, flipping a home, remodeling or just need some basic
repairs, consider your local Habitat for Humanity ReStore. This is where builders and contractors bring their items removed from another remodel or maybe another rehab and donate to Habitat for Humanity for a tax donation credit. Some of these items are in excellent condition, some may need a little repair and some are brand new.
I have personally purchased closet organizers, vinyl flooring, antique door knobs, chandeliers, and shower fixtures. I have seen entire bathtubs, paint cans, oak hardwood flooring, parquet flooring, vanities, furniture and almost anything else you can think of.
Clayton North Carolina's Habitat for Humanity ReStore is located off Main Street behind the Post Office in the old Clayton Spinning Mill. The Raleigh store has a new location off Capital Blvd.
And it all goes back into the communities we serve. Be sure to spread the word.
