Need Web sites for renewable energy

There are a lot of sites out the on the web that are tauting RENEWABLE energy.  Does anyone have a suggestion or had a good experience with ony of them.  I have a client looking to adapt his new purchase with some wind and solar, and I am thinking about looking into it also.  Local area would be best, but very open.  I did find a great GEO-Thermal company, for him to use.  Thanks for any help.
