Milford Winter Wonderland 5 Miler

Not sure how many runners look for events in the winter but I found one for this weekend ( Sunday February 4th at 9:30 ).

There is not much information on-line but a phone number and email address is listed at http://hitekracing.com/calendar/

To late to mail applications but registration begins at 8:30am Sunday morning.

The race went off on schedule under sunny cold skies Sunday morning. For the first mile a stiff wind of about 15 mph was hitting our face and the temp was in the mid-teens. Not sure what the wind-chill factor came to in degrees but it was certainly cold enough the freeze nasal congestion and plug the breathing path. I didn't hang around to see the official results so I'm not sure of my placement, normally they show up on line within 24 hours but this race has not been posted. My un-official time was about 47 minutes.
