Stop with the bad news! A friend called me today railing about all the self fullfilling prophecies of the press. This time I agree, and it's not even about Real Estate (directly), it's about GAS! The media is now reporting that we may hit $4 per gallon because OPEC's cutting production and a refinery in Texas is offline. My friend was saying it was just OPEC's way of preparing the waters for their own smooth sailing. If they start telling us it will hit $4, then when it does, we're not surprised! ARRRGGHHHH.

I heard that too, paid $3.15 for regular this afternoon, which I know isn't as bad as some other parts of the country but still....it's crazy to look at where prices were a year ago, they definitely weren't over $3/gallon around here.
