Just got off the phone with my NY office, one the mortgage reps who regularly visits our office was comming by to drop off bagels. We love when she comes to visit, some days it's a wonderful deli spread, others is french cookies, today bagels. It's funny, if we have advance notice that she is comming in, agents who you never see in the office turn up. Free Food! We are there! I'm hoping for an everything!

In our slow market, our broker provides us with Free Lunch on Thursdays! Its a smart tactic to get agents to show up. Some agents joke that they condier their free lunch as "pay day." Gotta keep your sense of humor.

Between open houses, preview cocktail parties, mortgage sponsored breakfasts, if you plan right, as a realtor you'll never have to pay for food!

Paul, that is just so true. Our broker has taken to getting pizza when we have office meetings, to make sure she gets at least 1/2 the agents to turn up. I don't usually do lunch previews, but a breakfast caravan is nice. We had been doing those in our area for a little bit, but alas they have disappeared with the slowing market.
