Pool Safety for Infants and Toddlers: Infant Swimming Resource

Some time ago, I attended a funeral for a 5 year old who drowned while visiting family in Manahawkin, NJ. It was one of the most difficult things I've ever experienced, and the tragedy is that it didn't have to happen. Mike - Pool safety for small children is so important, and it is never too late to start swimming lessons. I love that you are posting this, and you could save a life. Good job.

One of my biggest fears is that my child my drown. This more than brought me tears, it made me bawl. I cannot imagine losing a child, EVER. What a fabulous thing to teach children. WOW. Thanks Mike.

Mike, Wow, I'm so thankful that mine know how to swim and are older. Granny had a pool so they learned early, but this is incredible.

Mike - Pool safety cannot be stressed too much! Fences and gates around pools, alarms on doors leading to pools - if you have children, these things are a must!
