You know, sometimes people are just looking for a good laugh. The best place to go to get this would be a comedy club. Baton Rouge features two comedy clubs in and around the Baton Rouge area. If you are looking for a few good giggles, please be sure to visit these "laugh" clubs. The laughter is FREE!
The Funny Bone- The Funny Bone has been around for years. It is actually located in the bar of Triple A. So, you can go get a few good laughs and then dance the night away. The Funny Bone, in my opinion, is the featured spot for most comedians in Baton Rouge. They are always bringing in great and new talent. One of my favorite shows is they hypnotist gig. Do they really make people cluck like chickens. Check it out for yourself

Thursday: 9:00 pm
Friday & Saturday: 8:00 pm & 10:00 pm
All of the Funny Bone shows are 18 & up. It is located off of College Dr. on Bennington Ave. The great thing about the Funny Bone is that they are constantly giving away tickets. They also do business and party events. What a great idea to have a party at a comedy club. Funny Bone has weekly drawings for free tickets, you should check it out. Also, visit their website and be up to date on all of the great comedians they feature.
Redstick Comedy- If the Funny Bone doesn't tickle your fancy, please head out to Redstick Comedy. What sets this venue apart from the Funny Bone is the fact that they have open mic night. So, if you think you have what it takes to make people laugh, go to open mic night. Open mic night is every Tuesday at 8:00 pm. If you are planning on being funny, be sure to be there at 7:30 to sign up. If you are signing up it's actually free for you to get it. Redstick comedy offers laughter from several local comedians in and around Baton Rouge. It's also located off of Government St. Head out to Redstick Comedy and have a good laugh or make others laugh.
