Happy Leap Year Day!

In honor of this important holiday, and with St. Patricks Day just around the corner, I am pleased to anounce the early release of the Real Estate Johnosphere (also known as O'Sphere 2.0).

Some of you have already taken the necessary steps to get me to like you, such as being congenial, substantive and/or good looking. The purpose of the real estate Johnosphere is to reward your efforts by making you part of the IN crowd.

No longer will you have to sign up for some new social networking gizmo and wait around for some dummies who got there ahead of you to add you to their friends list. No more typing all day trying to get points and link love and wondering about whether you're on the A-List.

Now you can just sit back and reap the incredibly rich rewards of me liking you, without having to register or make up a new email address.

Many of you are already members of the Real Estate Johnosphere and don't even know it.

I should probably make a list.

Well put!  And when anyone's in doubt about how to deal with cliques, the best approach is to start your own!

Nice entertaining post, John. I have a Leap Year post today also. Check it out. Thanks.

Hey, neat, Steve.  We share a common interest in leap years.

You're in.

See -- it's easy. :)

That's right, Eric!  Agreeing with me is a great way to go, I salute you.

You're in.

Hey, this is kind of fun.  I wish I'd thought of this earlier.  By the way David Patterson sent me a really nice email so he's in.  And I really wish I hadn't blown it on the recruiting with JulieJ and Mike, but I did, but nevertheless they're awfully nice, and they're in.

Jim Cronin reads me a lot and tries hard to be nice to me even when I'm difficult, so even tough we've had our differences:  in.  Lotta heads on the widget I don't know, but chances are pretty good they're in.

Laurie Mindnich:  In like Flynn.

Maureen:  in.  Other Maureen:  in.  Default setting for anyone named Maureen until proven otherwise:  In.  (Due to Maureenic Karma).

Bill Gassett:  Naturally, in.

Almost anyone who comments on my Roseville blog even though you only get points if you comment here:  in.  Exception:  those people who have further to go through the appeal process. :)

John, I commented over at your site and I have to say I could not believe how fast you commented back.  My fingers had verily left the keys.

Yes, I was commenting as soon as I saw you on the MyBlogLog widget.

That's just the kind of service you get from O'Sphere 2.0.

This isn't your Grandfather's Oldmobile O'Sphere.

By the way thanks for saying hi on the other blog -- I appreciate it.  You get Johnosphere points for that.

I, for one, am truly honored.  After seeing some petty nastiness directed at my favorite John, I need to replace that "other" site.  Done.  Do I get invited twice now?

02/29/2008 12:24 PM by Options Realty

Well, you're absolutely in, Laurie, but I'm not sure if I can invite you twice without creating an inner Johnosphere and thereby alienating the outer Johnosphere.  :)

Someone was nasty to me?  Glad I didn't see it.  I hope you smote them for me.

Mine-Enemy-Smiting is one of the Seven Virtuous Acts of Johnularity.   Actually I think there are supposed to be fourteen when you add them all up.

And just think -- some people have nothing to blog about.

I don't know if I should go for having an inner sanctimonium or not.  Oh wait, sanctum.

Hopefully not Sanka.

Oh Please  Sir.. can I be part of the Johnosphere.. grovel.. grovel... grovel....

02/29/2008 07:58 PM by Manhattan Beach CA/ e-PRO..... Kaye Thomas... (Real Estate West)

I admire your groveling.  You're in!

Pssst... no one tell Kaye that she would have made it in without groveling, as I do want to encourage cronies and sycophants to apply and don't want them to know I liked Kaye already :)

Mental note:  don't write secret things down.

Very funny, actually I heard about your other blog on twitter and went there first. Sometimes my dash board gets so long here, things slip by.

"Maureen:  in.  Other Maureen:  in.  Default setting for anyone named Maureen until proven otherwise:  In.  (Due to Maureenic Karma)."

Gee thanks.  I suppose I ought to post it on my Maureen network. If I could remember how to get in to it.

03/01/2008 10:35 AM by Maureen McCabe - Central Ohio real estate (Real Living HER)

I'm sorry, but I'm not the one who calls you Other Maureen.  I think you should start calling yourself Maureen Classic, and make Francis work for it for a change. :)

Holy cow do you really have that many points?

03/01/2008 12:22 PM by Elite Properties

HAH!! Work is overrated.  I can be Michigan Maureen,

I call myself The Other Maureen on her "Other" blogs.

Still wondering about my decoder ring.
