Wisconsin. Four magnificent seasons. All very beautiful, but Winter can be extremely cold, and lots of snow.

There exists a treasure that really has to be experienced if you are ever in the City of Milwaukee.

It is known as "The Domes" The Mitchell Park Conservatory. Three completely different domes: One Desert, One Tropical, and one reserved that is known as seasonal. The seasonal dome has Easter, Christmas, and many other displays and floral gardens. Incredible diversity of plant life. Besides being of extreme size, this vision of being able to observe and participate in different Botany Worlds really is something to marvel.

Besides the two climate rooms; the arid and the tropical one, there are five seasonal displays in the third.

Tom,

I would love to visit there...I'd likely be in my own little heaven observing all of the plants and never want to leave.

Tom - I really enjoy visiting conservatories.  This is a place I would want to visit right away if I was relocating to Milwaukee.

Tom

...these places are a wonderful haven in a winter like this!

They remind us that we live on a small planet, and we have to care for it gently.

The Proctor & Gamble buildings in Cincinnati are shaped like this, two side by side structures that sit in the center of the city - they are refered to as the Dolly Parton buildings.
