Every Thursday morning, real estate agents have an opportunity to view homes in San Marino, before the general public.

Today, I brought my handy dandy Kodak V705 to snap a few pics and decided to capture initial impressions.

First stop - 1842 Twin Plams Drive

1842 Twin Palms Drive

  •  1842 Twin Palms Drive
  • Great location, beautiful street
  • Minutes from Huntington Middle School
  • 2 story colonial - 3 bedrooms plus den and 3 baths.
  • Sunny and bright
  • Beautiful kitchen; great outdoor bbq; nice flow
  • All bedrooms are upstairs except for the den on the first floor; could be challenging for older couples.
  • Overall, a nice family home - offered at $1,795,000

2nd stop - 2065 Courtland Avenue

2065 Courtland2065 Courtland Avenue

  • Nice location, good sized lot and a beautiful pool
  • Gorgeous front door
  • Newer mediterranean construction
  • Floor plan felt choppy; needs paint and doesn't feel cared for
  • Priced, at over $4 million - unfortunately, didn't feel like an estate and in my opinion, priced a bit high!

3rd stop - 1332 Wilbury Road

1332 Wilbury Road

  • Lovely street north of Huntington, a few blocks from the San Marino High School
  • Nice kitchen, beautiful living room, updated bathrooms
  • home feels added on to... it just goes on and on - in one direction.
  • Oferred at $1,628,000

All three homes will be open this weekend.  If you'd like more information, please email me at Irina@Irina4RealEstate.com or call at 626.627.7107.

Hi Irina,

You have such wonderful properties in San Marino. I normally do the "home tour" in your city each year with special clients. It's always such a treat, there is so much more character in the homes than other "tract" homes in SoCal.  Wow, and look at those prices, yikes!

BTW, growing up as kids, we always thought that's where the rich people lived, still looks that way doesn't it?

Lynda, San Marino does have such wonderful character homes.  It makes previewing real estate so much fun.  And, yes... looks like it is still for the well to do.  :-)
