The median sales price of single family homes in Guilford continues to shift lower and the number of homes sold is off about 9% from recent years.  Prices of individual homes are retaining their value and have not fallen as drastically as the chart may seem to indicate.  I am noticing an adjustment in what the consumer is buying,   lower priced homes are selling while potential buyers of the massive McMansions play a waiting game to see if price drops forecast by the media materialize.
