One of the most popular places to shop in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is The Mall of Louisiana. It is located off of Bluebonnet Blvd., right off of the interstate. They are open Monday- Saturday from 10:00 am -9:00 pm. On Sundays there hours of operation are 12:00 -6:00 pm. Of course, you know these hours are subject to change come Christmas. The Mall of Louisiana is know for it's chic, upscale and unique shopping selection. The neatest thing about our mall is the beautiful carousel in the middle of the food court. Bring the children and hop on for a ride, you'll be glad you did. The Mall of Louisiana also offers different and unique booths through out the mall. When you walk in the main entrance, you will see a booth for massages. Isn't that awesome? What a great idea after a long day of shopping. On the other side of the mall, they offer 15 minute "Zooming" for your teeth. As seasons pass, they are always coming up with different ideas to be featured. In addition to all the stores, The Mall of Louisiana also has a movie theater. It's not "in" the mall but actually behind it. The theater is brand new, which offers the most popular movies, plush seating and your choice of refreshments. If you haven't dropped yet, head on over to The Mall at Cortana. They claim to be the largest mall in Louisiana. They really give The Mall of Louisiana a run for their money. Cortana is right off of Airline and is surrounded by Old Navy, Bed Bath and Beyond and Office Depot. Their hours are Monday-Saturday from 10:00 am-9:00 pm and Sunday Noon-6:00 pm. The most unique thing about Cortana is that they offer clubs. They have a kids club, a seniors club and a walkers club. Check out all they have to offer children such as: Dora The Explorer, Easter pictures with the Easter bunny and breakfast with the Easter bunny. The Seniors club meets every month and offers certain discounts. The walkers club encourages people to stay in shape! They have an interior track that is 1.2 miles in length. There are so many benefits to joining Cortana's free membership to the walker's club. Aside from all the clubs, they have an extensive amount of stores and good places to eat, check it out!
Driving ten minutes to Gonzales is no biggie when it comes to looking for a good shopping out. It's the Tanger Outlet Mall. The Tanger Outlet is located in Gonzales, La. Don't worry it's ride down the road from Baton Rouge and is really worth it. Tanger is open Monday-Saturday from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm and 11:00 am-6:00 pm on Sundays. Tanger takes pride in accommodating tourists. They give away coupon books for groups that make a reservation to shop. Wow! They offer a customer lounge and also a customer visiting center. So, you're feel are starting to hurt? Don't worry they have a trolly service. They also offer RV parking for those on the road. Tanger features 50 of America's best brand names. There is no need to worry if your tummy starts to rumble, there are several restaurants surrounded by Tanger. The newest addition to Baton Rouge, Louisiana is Perkins Rowe. Perkins Rowe really pushed the finer things in life. They offer fine shopping, living and entertainment. Perkins Rowe also features a brand new Cinemark 16. This is where you can catch all the latest flicks. With a dozen of coffee shops, cafes, restaurants complimented with a gourmet grocery- you'll never go hungry. Perkins Rowe has compacted everything you could possibly need into one venue. Above all the hussle and bustle are the Perkins Rowe Lofts. Yes, they actually have condo's live in. How unique that would be to wake up, go downstairs and go shopping.
