Grafton County is home to some very popular vacation destinations...like Waterville Valley, Lincoln and Franconia to name a few. This is a particular beautiful area of NH!
Grafton County Year End Market Report
2006 Units sold (excluding condos) 932 down 11% from 2005
2006 Average sales price (excluding condos) $267,000. down 1% from last year.
The New Hampshire Association Of REALTORS (NHAR) published it's year end market trends report which has some pretty fascinating information. You can read the State wide report in it's entirety on my blog New Hampshire State Stats.
I think this information is particularly of interest for those that might be thinking of buying or selling a home in 2007. While overall sales may be down the prices have seemed to hold there own. Especially compared to other parts of the country. Which is very good news for buyers and sellers alike.
All indications are that New Hampshire real estate market is slowly waking up after a long snooze...get ready the Spring market is right around the corner!
Statistics are based on information from the Northern New England Real Estate Network (NNEREN) for the respective periods shown for the respective regions in the State of New Hampshire or all towns in the State of New Hampshire.

Hi Monika,
I'd like to start posting reports like this on a regular schedule for my coverage-area (Lincoln/Woodstock and a few surrounding villages). I have a few questions before taking this on though, including whether this is something that you'd be OK with, having begun it yourself? If so...
What's the best way to go about compiling the necessary figures? Am I correct in assuming that I simply do a residential/condo search within NNEREN, define the specific town(s) and time-period(s), highlight the appropriate status, and then write-up a "Market Report" similar to yours?
I have a tendency to get far too "wordy", so I'll leave it at this point for now, and wait for your response.
Thanks!
Scott
