Showing Homes

Last week I took buyers to see some homes. The first house was lovely well kept. Some up dates. The second home needed some updating, but the condition was good.  As we continued looking at homes. The third home the homeowner as I thought wasn't home. I continued to ring the bell and a large dog started to bark from the yard. That set the mood. I went back to the car and called the showing office number. They couldn't get in touch with the homeowner.  I proceeded to call the Listing Agent.  She was able to contact the wife, her husband was indeed home but sleeping.  They said, She would be back in 10 minutes. By now the baby was crying, it was cold, my buyer was totally irritated.  They did Not want to wait!!!

Should I have stayed myself and previewed the home. I stayed for approximately 7 minutes and left. I myself  was annoyed.  

We do have another appointment this weekend. I hope it is as nice as the listing says and shows on the virtual tour.
