A few months ago we started to plan a day trip for the family.  Being the proud new owners of a cute minature poodle, it dawned on us that we didn't really know what to do with if no one was going to be around to watch after him all day long... he was only 12 weeks old!  We started searching around for options and calling people we knew with smaller dogs for their input. Once we collected all the great suggestions we went out to investigate our options.  We looked at several boarding kennels around Lawrence and eventually ended up at one called Country Meadow, midway between Lawrence and Baldwin City.  We were amazed with this wonderful place, so much so we decided that it was worth it to drive the extra distance for our little guy.  The owner of the facility truly loves all of the dogs and treats them with extra special care. Its like a big dog party all day with lots of love and care.  When our Bailey goes there he just has such a good time.
