February 29th & Leap Year Thoughts

Funny side of 2-29 in history:  I read that there was or is a tradition that women may propose marriage to men during leap years (only) and in some places/times was restricted to today, February 29th.  A Scottish parliament tradition under Queen Margaret outlined that a woman could propose on Leap Years.  Following the same tradition if a man rejected the proposal he was then required or encouraged to provide solice in the form of a kiss, one pound compensation, and gloves or a silk gown (versions varied).  These traditions also were reported in similar fashion in France & Switzerland.

Where was this ring when I went shopping with my wife??????

Spring is coming and I'm ready to do more of what I love - help people get into the Home of their dreams with less stress.  I'm using the Leap Day to encourage myself to take the time and abilities that God has given me along with those people in my life to acheive the greatest things possible and leave the planet better than when I came in!!!
