I had planned to work real estate this morning with an appointment with my buyer and the building inspector at 9 AM then a quick stop at the office to submit an offer and take care of a few details. I was going to spend the afternoon at home filing and getting ready for the accountant for my taxes and my mother's estate taxes (as if I did not have enough stress with my own tax preparation.)
Well I got to the office around 11 because of course the meeting took longer than I anticipated. I picked up my voice-mails and returned calls. I submitted the offer. I made appointments for showings tomorrow (even though it is supposed to snow again tonight) and looked up to see that somehow the big hand was on the twelve and the little hand was on the three. Oh my I lost my afternoon for tax prep.
What I don't know is if I subconsciously am avoiding this or I am just so busy with real estate stuff that I don't have time for it. I tend to think it is being busy. I am getting calls that are coming in from buyers who stopped looking last year, from family and friends who are looking to buy, and from referrals. I am taking out new buyers every couple of days and I am soooo excited.
So I may not have enough time to do minor things like laundry, cleaning, and other mundane tasks but I am happy that the market is picking up. How about you? What happened with your day? I hope you were so busy that you lost track of time too.
