Just a heads up, the August 14th addition of the carnival of real estate is being hosted over at Brownstoner.  For those of you that haven't heard about it, it's a way to highlight the best real estate related blog posts each week.  Each week its hosted by a different real estate blogger and travels throughout the blogoshere, hence "carnival" being in the name.  The carnival of real estate just started up about a month ago but I think it's a pretty cool idea so I hope it continues to gain steam.

ActiveRain got mentioned in two places in this weeks carnival, a post by Spotlight Realty referring to us as "online crack for real estate agents", and post by our very own Linda Slocum titled "Beware the Real Estate Parasites"  Last weeks carnival highlighted four different blog posts by members of the network, that all got incorrectly attributed to me (no I don't have that much time on my hands).  If our members write a post they are really proud of, I'd encourage them to submit it to the weekly carnival of real estate.

By the way, ActiveRain will be hosting the carnival of real estate the second week in December.
