I shared this news this morning and realized I haven't shared this news enough:

I have a real estate team!!!

My husband finally got his real estate licence! I sent him to real estate school last year and last month he joined me at Keller Williams. We are now the husband and wife team of Joe and Stacey McCarthy.

Most people might not like to work with their husbands, but I have worked with him in the past, so it's not a big deal to me. I actually like being with him (most of the time), so that helps. We do get on each others nerves sometimes if that what you are thinking. We always get along at lunch and dinner though.

And you know what else? Joe is a born lead generator! One of those people that likes to talk to everyone and will chat up the checkout lady at the supermarket. I'd like to be more like that, but I am somewhat reserved, so we balance each other out well. He is my secret weapon!

He is a real go-getter too. I have gotten more leads in the past month from him then I have in the past 6 months. Plus he knows alot of people so that helps. Husbands can actually be good for something, wow!

My business is really taking off now! We have a big future in real estate!

Stacey, congratulations on putting your man to work. You probably balance him out with him being the talker and you being the mastermind LOL. Good luck with your biz!!

Stacy that is great.  My wife works with me also.  But she does all of the behind the scenes work that I struggle with.  We are a great team.

Bronson, That's why you are a good team like Joe and I will have - we balance each other out. His weaknesses are my strength and vice versa.

Congrat's on your team!  It's good that you are able to work together as well as maintain a relationship.  Id probably end up committing homicide working with my wife...hahahha!

Stacey-Congratulations.  That is fantastic.  My husband & I have talked about him getting his license and creating a team.  We are total opposites, he is laid back, take it as it comes, I am very organized, and like to play by the rules so I am sure it will work, we just have to get there!

Clint - LOL - We are actually getting along better these days!

Dawn - Hi! It's great to have someone else to lean on in this business. It is tough having to juggle everything. In my case, he's in charge of lead generation and I am in charge of marketing. It works out great.

Congratulations! That is so nice and encouraging. My husband and I also work together, and I cant imagine having anyone else by my side through all of it. Of course he gets on your nerves, he's your husband! But I am sure he also keeps you on your toes. I have worked with a lot of different people and my husband is the only one I would want to continue to work with. Good luck to the both of you.

By the way the security graphic was lovi-lovi, i thought that was a nice coincident!
