CLOSING DATES & Closing Costs

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with WERTH REALTY

I am sure you are all very busy with weather changing to Spring.  Who advertises Spring anyways or should we?

The highest number of closing dates statistically are mid april to september right?  So if there is a gap or slowdown on closings in the off season, why aren't there more promotions of advertising for closing discounts to increase home sales or refy's>>>

OK ALL YOU LENDERS, I got a thinker for you!

Hello Fargo ..I went to school at Moorehead State U. and I can tell you spring comes about two months later there then anywhere else in the country. So I do spring here cash in then catch up on the spring time wave there.

I think you need to advertise every month - This is not a seasonal business.  Good luck

I am finding thet buyers are coming back.  That is the best time to advertise.  People are buying we need to advertise what's for sale.

I used to be in Advertising and my advice is that you ramp up during the busy times of your year and slow down when the cycle is not so busy. But you should have some sort of a presence!

To your success!

While advertising is a part of a successful marketing strategy, it should be only that...a part.  Overall you should focus on a marketing system that goes all year and includes all facets of exposure.  This is the only way to insure that you won't experience as much of a slowdown in the "off season" and you'll always keep the pipeline full.

Educate your sellers as to the impact of e-marketing....you'll save a king's ransom in print advertising.  Example...I had seven couples to my open house last Sunday NONE of whom found me by print ads....every one of them found the open house on the net.

Seems one needs to advertise all months, not just when things seem to have been closing mostly. Here in Arizona is gets to be 110+ in the summer and most of the "snowbirds" have gone back up to where you are, but there are still people buying and selling homes year round. All the best.
