| As you may guess, I receive many requests from friends and associates for referrals to professional trades and services - everything from painters to attorneys. Because I receive such a large number of requests, and because I operate my own business by referral, I have decided to commit some time and resources to compiling a Referral Directory. This referral directory will go live March 1, 2008, listing the finest individuals and businesses serving our community. With this in mind, I want your input! Chances are you know contractors, home repair persons, CPAs, doctors, attorneys, window cleaners, auto mechanics, hair stylists, etc., whose services have been exceptional and extremely valuable to you and your family. Speaking of people who do an excellent job, perhaps you provide a service or product that you would like us to include in this Directory? This Directory will be distributed to all clients, friends and associates, as well as to the 100,000 annual visitors (and growing) to my site. I will also post this Directory online as well. As you may be aware, my websites receive about 10,000 visitors per month. Additionally, each month, I will feature a particular referral in my monthly, mailed newsletter and also in my electronic eNewsletter (which gets posted to my blog). Between the two of those, there is the potential for up to 2,000 additional, monthly impressions. The cost? Nothing to you. Nothing to the referred business. The only cost is the investment of providing exceptional service to my client community. The referral database will be continually reviewed to ensure quality; those failing to meet standards of exceptional service worthy of a referral will be removed promptly. You can think about it as being like one of those troubleshooter websites you see on TV, but more personal because you think highly enough of them to refer them to others in our community. This Directory will list the most reliable and professional people.
