I have to say, for me, it is my Cyberspace office. Since I do not meet most of my clients until the closing table, interaction with the majority of my business and business associates takes place over the phone or over the internet. Sometimes I am able to get out and intermingle.

You ask, where is your cyberspace office held at? Well, that is easy. For the most part it is here on ActiveRain, the best Real Estate Network platform in my opinion. It is very user friendly and easy for one to navigate their way though. With that said, there are other places that I have ventured into. But mainly, my time is spent here interacting with the people that I have grown to know and love.

It is funny though, when I adventure out into cyberspace to join a smaller group, the people that I meet there are the mainstays that I have grown to know and love from ActiveRain. The ones that are all about growing their business and expanding. These are people that understanding marketing and what blogging can do for them.

What are you rambling about you ask? Simple. No one puts ALL their eggs into one basket. People adventure into other marketing arenas for a reason. And typically it is so you can attract more business. Now, I say that and I want to make sure that you understand not to bite off more than you can chew. You can kill what you have built if you can not handle the amount of business that you have built. Also, in saying this, let me make sure that you understand that you should not take on all of this if you are a newbie to the Blogging World. I know that when I first came into blogging back in September, if people would have told me to expand my horizons then, I would probably not be here today. Take your time and advance slowly.

Spreading oneself to thin can also be a downfall. In my case, I am a speed reader. My issues lay more in the fact that I am a pecker when it comes to typing and I have to look at the keyboard and not the screen as I type. This is also why I love using Mozilla's Firefox as oppose to Netscape or Internet Explorer. Firefox has a wonderful spellcheck built right in and will red line and misspellings.

So, my vote goes to cyberspace for my favorite office space. With that said, if you are interested in making some part time income as a blogger, check out the offers below. If you are good enough, companies will pay for you to blog about them.

*Disclaimer* I realize that this is not for some people and for some it may overwhelm you. I am not promoting the other sites over ActiveRain, only sharing some other avenues that will help to generate income in a slow down time. Also, as with most my post lately, all pictures are active and will transport you to another world if you click on them. They will not subscribe you to anything though.

Charlie, usually I only do the quotes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. With that said, I have been continually asked about doing them daily, so I think that I might be caring that on. It is not like I do not have enough to do it with.

Danny ~ Nice post.  Your right people do need several avenues, but spreading yourself to thin can be the death of a great thing.

I prefer cyber but I find business both ways. So I'm a tweener it appears.

Brande, you are so right.

Chuck, cyber is not my only avenue either. heck, I got a customer the other day in line at McDonald's.

Danny,

I'm a "tweener", too, but much prefer my cyberoffice. However, there are times when I HAVE to go into the other office.  I'll tell you, though, not having to drive somewhere every day really helps with gas prices the way they are! Good for the mileage, too.

Marcy, I can tell you that I am happy to work at home. The view is great. I get to spend it with my five girls, and I save $150 a month in gas.

I feel as if I have two offices-of both types. But perhaps that's because I wear two hats; Owner and Agent. Love the advice on not being ready for the influx of new business. Take it slow..it works, but you'd better be ready for it!

Yes we are. Girls are happy to be here, we're just a bit tired. We're going to try out the restaurant you told me about later this week.

Nancy, actually I was picking out breakfast and I heard him talking about needing to refinance his home. Well, that just left a wide open hole for me todrive a semi through.

Debbie, let me know. I forget who the executive chef is, but if you have the chance, meet him.

I like my cyber office over the real one.  Occassionally have to go there but it seems to work better if I am not around the coffee clatch and negative undertones because I am much more productive.
