As Good As It Gets

Wow, our market is very exciting. Currently intrest rates are low, prices are affordable, there is inventory available and there are BOTH buyers and sellers in the market place, clearly these are all positives. Therefore, we should have a positive mindset.

The great thing about our business is there is no limit. Regardless of the market conditions we have an opportunity to survive and thrive. Take it! Don't grumble and complain.

Remember Tom Hanks in A League of Their Own "There's no crying in baseball"; well there's no crying in real estate either.

If you are currently a little down, here a are couple of things that will change your attitude:

               1. Go volunteer and help someone less fortunate than you.

               2. Go for a walk outside, exercise regularly and get some sunlight.

               3. Hug 5 loved ones.

               4. Call your Mom, Dad, or friend and just say "hey".

               5. Donate money to your favorite cgarity, or give cash to someone who needs it.

               6. Go out to eat and triple the normal tip.

               7. Listen to a Jimmy Buffett CD.

               8. Write down 25 things you are thankful for.

Change your attitude, change your business, change your bank account, change your life.

What tips do you have? Looking forward to everyone else's ideas.

Thanks, and make it an awesome day!

Hello again Jim, thanks for sharing your post and being very positive.  We should strive to positive every single day.  It is all about your mindset.  Like I always say, if you think negative, negative is what you will get.  I am thankful that my mindset has been changed.  And I will make it an awesome day.

Jim - Thanks for sharing your recipes to feeling good.  I like to send an affirmation or motivational quote (or even a joke) to someone who's experiencing challenges or tough time.  I also like to do something nice for someone anonymously.  Another one that works for me is to give other people the right of way at an intersection when it's my turn to go first (if there's no one behind me).  It doesn't take much, but it's fun to try different things that can make others feel good (and therfore I feel even better).  It's also fun to find a reason to publicly say "Thank You" or "Atta Boy" to someone else.
