I've hd a difficult day. I was supposed to go to Nashville to pick up 3 rescue dogs from a man who said they were going to be euthanized on Monday. As things developed I learned from several dedicted rescuers in tyhe Nashville area the truth about this guy. He hs a long history of anima;l related offenses nd he tries to get animal;s from rescue groups nd shelters and no one knows why but they are sure it is not good. I have a detailed email that I will shre privately if someone needs to know more, but, in the meantime, if you re contacvted by a Tim J. do not surrender any animals to him and email or call me. This has been hard on a lot of people tody especially the little lady that thought I ws bringing her a blind toy poodle and even went shopping for him. Please be careful with our precious friends.
Hi Gayle, there is also a popular scam/rumor going around that someone has 'found a litter of puppies and they will be destroyed if not adopted'. Not sure what the true intention of the scam is-money? addresses? But it sounds like this guy has taken things a step further to take advantage of pet loving people. Be careful and thanks for letting us know.
So sorry to hear that you got pulled into such a negative situation. I hate to hear of this stuff. Thank God for people like you (and me) who are out there to help these helpless animals...keep trying, don't lose faith for their sakes...
Gayle, I work with (foster) pups through a wonderful organization out of Jackson, TN. They have contacts ( rescue people) in Nashville. If you will email me the information I will make sure it gets passed around from this end. We need to make sure everyone knows about this creep. I worry enough when one of my babies leaves, the thought of any animal ending up with someone like this is heart breaking.
Gayle~This is heartbreaking. I hope this guy is caught. Good for you for getting the word out. Take care my friend!
