Artwork Exhibited at the 21st Annual Prairie Arts Festival                      MAY 24 and 25, 2008

Talented artists from around the country will display and sell their original work at the 21st annual Prairie Arts Festival. The festival will be held May 24 and 25 on the grounds of the Robert O. Atcher Municipal Center from 10 am to 5 pm each day.

Distinctive clothing, glass, jewelry, paintings, photography,pottery, and sculpture are featured at this juried exhibition and sale that includes approximately 155 jewelers, painters, photographers, and sculptors throughout the U.S and Canada. Each year, the free outdoor festival draws those who come for the scenic surroundings, to purchase quality artwork, and enjoy the wide variety of art on display.

"This is a juried fine art show and sale offering cash prizes for winning entries, as well as wonderful live entertainment and food vendors selling delicious fare to enjoy while at the festival," said Roxane Benvenuti, Schaumburg Special Events Coordinator. The Schaumburg Park District also sponsors children's art activities on the grounds of the festival.
