I want to begin by saying hello to all fellow real estate agents and such.  It is an honor to become a real estate broker and I will do my best to uphold the honesty and true meaning of a "Realtor".  If anyone has any helpful comments or suggestions on what to expect from this roller coaster career, please let me know.  I am going to place a few questions on the bottom of the page if anyone's interested.

*Why did you become a Real Estate agent, and was it all that you thought it would be?

*Who are they hardest people in this profession to deal with?

*What can I do to go the extra mile for my clients?

*Any predictions on when the market will start to rise again?

 Thank you everyone!

Welcome to AR and happy Blogging and I wish you a great success. I have been in the business for 30 years and believe my durability is due to liking the business and its challenge. I came to this business after being a management consultant, so the 9:00 to 5:00 routine was not in my routine.

If you find it difficult being out of a job every time a listing sells or expires, you will not be here long. Don't sweat the people, they are only there to keep you on your toes.  Tiger Woods never pays attention to those he plays with because they have nothing to do with his game and the challenge is to remain focused.

The market will not become rosy until 2009; however, real estate is a local business driven by local circumstances.

Glad to have another Oregonian aboard here in the rain Daniel. This business is a lot harder than I thought it would be, but I have enjoyed every minute of it! I got in when I saw a lot of my clients from my previous business getting their first home right after getting married and I had to help them with that as I did with their wedding. It was just a natural progression for me.

Keep a positive outlook and blog away and I think you will find the clients will find you in no time!

I may have to stop off and say hi next time I'm down your way, family tries to get down to the petting zoo and Bandon at least once a year.

Good luck,
