BATON ROUGE WATER-PARK

If you are a kid at heart you will love Blue Bayou Waterpark. Blue Bayou is located off of Highland Road. What's unique about Blue Bayou is that it also has an amusement park. So, if you are tired of getting wet you can go jump on the roller coaster. Blue Bayou is filled with wet rides and slides. The amusement park features some of the funnest rides around. They also have a place for entertainment where local bands and artist are featured. If it's a sunny day and you feel like diving into the pool, plan a day at Blue Bayou.

ALLIGATOR SWAMP TOUR

Some people think of the swamp when thinking of Baton Rouge. Well, we aren't all swamp but we do have swamp tours. Don't worry you aren't going to take a tour of just ANY swamp, it's an alligator tour. It's Alligator Bayou. They offer educational tours for kids, parents and you. Jump on the Alligator Bayou boat and be amazed by all of their alligators and of course, the swamp.

THEATER

There's nothing better than have a little dinner and some entertainment to go with it. You can get all of this at the Baton Rouge Dinner Playhouse. They always have something fantastic going on. Did you know you can even audition to be apart of it? Or, if you don't want to be on the stage you can work behind the scenes and volunteer. Go ahead and give it a try, or sit back and enjoy your meal. Also, if you aren't looking for a dinner theater the Baton Rouge Little Theater is the best. They have great shows with great casts! Another great place to get fine entertainmet is the Manship Theater. Check it out!

 CASINOS

Cha-Ching! If you are feeling lucky make your way to the Baton Rouge Casino's. Of course, they all claim to have the loosest slots but who knows. These casino's usually offer the VIP treatment and sometimes entertainment.

What would Baton Rouge be without a zoo? Come visit the Baton Rouge Zoo and get up close and personal with the animals. The Baton Rouge Zoo isn't your ordinary zoo. They are always having great events that you can take the family to. The Baton Rouge Zoo also offers membership where you will receive all sorts of benefits. Sometimes you might just feel like catching a movie. Baton Rouge has a number of movie theaters to fit your needs. Popcorn,  and a good flick is what it's all about.
